Do Re Mi - Song for New Beginnings

We were going to practice this tonight at mutual and do some more prep work/decorations, etc. for our fabulous New Beginnings/Night with the YW STARS (Stand for Truth And Righteousness!).  Don't forget it's on February 23rd at 7pm.  Sister Pascual came up with this oh-so-cute song for us to perform.  The words on the right are the words we'll be singing.  The words on the left are the original words from Do Re Mi (Sound of Music) so you can remember how the tune goes.  Can you all start practicing this at home? :-) 

Leaders: Let's start at the very beginning/A very good place to start/ When you read you begin with:     

YW:    ABC

Mama G: In Young women’s we begin with --   Integrity

(Do - a deer a female deer)  Leaders:  Faith, a seed we need to grow

(Re - a drop of golden sun)  Leaders:  Divine Nature’s where we all come from

(Mi- a name I call myself)   Leaders:  Worth is why I love myself

(Fa - a long long way to run)   Leaders:  Knowledge, yes learning can be fun

(Sol- a needle pulling thread)  Leaders:  Works: more than needles pulling thread 

(La - a note to follow so) Leaders:  Choice/Accountability we all reap what we sow

(Ti - a drink with jam and bread) Leaders:    Integrity No tea with jam and bread
